Ancient History

 

Or as some folk call it....the details

1991 Dave(vocals) and Jeff(drums) were in a band called Dirty Laundry together during high school. It dissolved a few months later...

1996 Dave met Brandon(keyboards) and began putting together the original Skamatiks. After awhile, Jeff, Caleb(bass) and Norm(alto saxaphone) joined the band. Followed by Jeremy(tenor saxaphone). The band played shows and recorded their demo CD at Cherry Recording Studio.

1998 The band signed with Ionic Records.

1999 The band toured in Arizona and played at the Rage Fest in Phoenix, AZ. Later they released their first album The "S" Files.

2003 The band is currently recording their first "independent" independent CD.
When it is finished, it will be released and distributed independantly too!

2005 Skamatiks Performed their final show at Sesame Donuts December of 2005

2009 Discussions begin of completing their 2003 independent album.
