Biography

Skamatiks was created in 1996 to bring positive and fun music to the world!

In the beginning Skamatiks played for parties, gradually moving into the local all-ages and Northwest club scene.

The band toured to Arizona where they played at The Rage Fest in Phoenix!

In Oregon, Skamatiks have played such clubs as Tommy John’s, Ash St Saloon, Key Largo (now Ohm), Lenora’s Ghost as well as many all-ages venues.

The six-piece band from Salem Oregon plays ska music in general, but you can also find them rocking out and getting the house swinging! They also perform cover songs of almost any nature.

Skamatiks released their first CD under Ionic Records in November of 1999.

Sending messages of hope and love through ska music was their goal then....and their continuing mission holds true in the new millennium!

The band is currently available for shows at any Northwest club or all-ages venue!
