--------------------BREAKING NEWS-------------------- Auditioning Keyboard PlayersRoiders - Oct 7,2004 "Yeah, they were all great but they didn't have what the French call the...I don't know what.." quoted one band member. Another band member told us "what they don't have is keyboards." The band has requested future audition-ers please bring a keyboard with them to audition with. "Air piano" performances will not be acceptable...though air guitar playing is welcome and encouraged. We had a number of talented auditions, but none of them seemed to work out.
This young man was ready to rock out with us, unfortunately we are looking for a KEYBOARD PLAYER not a SENATOR.
This ENTHUSIASTIC guy named Larry seemed to have hit a CURB during his audition.
While future auditions may prove more successful, the band continues to move forward with Fall plans. Singer/guitarist Dave Briski recently performed at a wedding ceremony in South Salem. "It was so cool man!" he mentioned to our journalist, "I've never had the chance to perform classical guitar music in that type of environment. We played Cannon in D, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, as well as a John Lennon Song called 'Oh My Love'. The last time I performed during a wedding ceremony, the bride and groom had us play a Rod Stewart song called 'For the First Time"! I was scared that they might want us to play 'Hot Legs'! The band is still scheduling auditions for keyboard players. |
