In a Northwest town of Salem Oregon, a cat owner came
home to find her house trashed and drunken cats all over the house.
The owner's cat, Fluffy had apparently been celebrating national catnip
appreciation day with some neighborhood friends when the party got out
of control.
The cats had been listening to the Skamatiks demo 2003 CD and had decided to raid the refridgerator. Although the lyrics in the music do not promote feline alcoholism, the cats held a raging party that lasted 4 hours. Police recieved multiple complaints that someone had their TV blasting Meow Mix commercials non-stop for 5 hours.
In
a drunken stupor, several cats decided that it would be fun to shave
themselves.
When asked for a comment, lead singer of Skamatiks was quoted as saying, "We at Skamatiks do not condone feline alcoholism nor do we promote use of alcohol or drugs in our music.". He went on to mention that Skamatiks will be performing at The Solid State club in Portland on June 5th With The Ted Dancin Machine.
